Busy day today. Woke up, make ABL and the kids pancakes for catherines birthday breakfast, then waited about 2 hours and had cake and opened presents. Then, about 12pmish mum came over and we went out for coffee together and I went to keep her company while she got her hair done. Her hairdresser is pretty awesome. Mums hair is bleached really really light blonde (but she gets her regrowth done all the time so it doesn't look skanky) and she has it in a pixie cut, all spiky and wispy. Her HD always gets the blonde perfect- not too yellow as some of them do. Anyway so I did some window shopping while mum got bleached (didn't buy anything apart from a $4 maybelline lippie- really nice, apricot something, sorta coral-ey) then I went back and sat with her and chatted with her HD (about turning my hair back into a shoulder-ish length blonde do in a few months) and then we did our grocery shopping. I have since come home, tidied the house, lit some candles and made chinese lemon chicken witb noodles for dinner and dumplings and mini spring rolls for entre. Desert is no sugar peters vanilla icecream and banana topping. Just waiting for ABL to get home while keeping everything warm in oven! (15-20 he reckons grr!)
Sometimes I really really like being domestic and being a wife.
