Thanks very much to Australian Womans Weekly who gave me a free DVD called NOEL with my purchase. This kept the kids entertained for a total of.. three minutes. I guess if there's no cartoon santa, reindeer or presents in a christmas movie they are NOT interested...
So Sunday I put up my christmas tree. I thought it would provide me with some time away from "wedding shtuff" true true. However, how HIDEOUS is putting a tree up? First of all- where was the stupid thing? Found it in the garage and gingerly put it together, being mindful that the garage is generally FULL of spidies and cockroaches. In melbourne. Figure that out? Then, since I am saving money I had decided not to buy new decos this year, I had to unravel the lights. Mah, this looks easy. 60 minutes later my hands were grimy from the cord and I was stamping my feet in frustration. Finally got them up. Then putting up the glass ornaments. Well.. not glass because glass balls and a frisky catsy do not mesh well. Making sure the balls were all spaced out according to colour- I only use green, red and silver. Then the tinsel. And some lametta to give it that "Snow covered in the alps" appeal. And presto... a Myer tree it ain't, but you know, it's OK! I will post next time a pic.
Saturday we had the wedding rehersal. Apart from some annoying, draining, let's-tell-80000-stupid-jokes-and-stress-the-bride-out-more people, it went well. Although now I think about it, I want to change the side of the courtyard we will be saying our vows in. You know, just to be difficult. I then proceeded to go to Southland with ABL and my three step daughters and it was total vomit busy and I was so mission driven- to get in and out ASAP! Picked up the things I needed and LEFT.
Today was boring. work was boring. You know, I just want to be at home finalising the wedding, NOT at work- its pissing me off actually and if my boss didn't look so MIFFED lately i would totally be asking for the next two days off. But you know, since it is kinda quiet, I can finalise stuff from my desk.

Anywho, I am knackered. My pic today was my outfit Saturday for the rehersal- forgive the facial expression, I was squinting into the sun and having a fag haha. I also included a pic of my very sensual new snake bracelet and black and gold bangles- very VERY into the bangle right now.

OK! Sooo.. above is my dress. The dress. The dress I have stressed over. The dress I saw in purple and fell in love with. The dress that I totally didn't mind was not a huge arse merrange (sp?) The dress I will become Mrs Green in. I totally love it. I mean, yes I am huge and it is a floor length white satin dress, but I am totally happy with it- and just so so happy it arrived and hardly needed ANY alterations (this shot is before alterations- have just had the straps moved up a little to accomodate my smallish for my huge frame boobs) Also, if we can please note that I was fighting the period bloat severe and it was one of those freakish 36 degree days Melbourne had the other week.
So. It feels like I JUST realised I am getting married. So very exiciting. I am almost organised. We have rings, my dress, bridesmaid dresses, flower girls dresses, the reception organised, cake ordered, flowers ordered, vows penned (but not learnt hehe) suits are being done tomorrow..umm.. veil done, wedding jewelery done, shoes done, hair trialled and booked, makeup booked, hotel booked.... only things I can think of left are the bonbonierre (which I am assembling little white noodle boxes and glueing a strip of green ribbon around them, I have done maybe 1/4 so far? Am doing a few whenever I get a sec to sit down and watch TV or something at the moment. I then need to fill them with green foiled chocolates eclairs, green sugared almonds, mini mentos and a green foiled pink lady chocolate frog haha) oh yes, that and finalise the music list. Am soo lucky my aunt and uncle run a mobile DJ business, we are making up a dinner music playlist and a dancey playlist for them and they will be enjoying the wedding whilst the music runs itself. Sooo.. next week will be finalising those two things and learning these vows. Oh and practising some slick dance moves with ABL haha.
In other news I went shopping last night and bought this cute as black asymetrical black top that I may wear with so-skinny-i-can-barely-breathe jeans and cute peep toe heels to my work christmas party tomorrow night- either that or the hot as snakeskin print thrifted dress, but I am thinking jeans as it is going to be a shitty as 16 degrees in melbourne tomorrow and come on- I work in the transport industry and will be hardcore drinking with drivers in a pub- I think the jeans are looking good right now yes? I did buy a sexy pair of gold and brown jewelled shoulder duster earrings last night from Diva- really nice. Will wear these with my brown chunky wooden beads I think. I am in love with a gold coiled snake cuff from Diva, but \I think large bingo wing arms and cuffs don't match :-( I will show my mum tomorrow when we go shopping and see what she says. Tomorrow I am heading to one of the MANY sales the good old Toll clients have been sending us fliers about- the Max factor/CoverGirl/Boujous sale. Am excited. It is meant to be pretty darn tootin' cheap and I am on a mission- need some severely good coverage foundation, mascara and a neautral pretty pink lipfinity for the wedding. I am going with my boss and my mum- both around same age- which is kind of weird but kind of cool. These sales are soo awesome- am so sad I have no money at the moment- I am talking 40% of Sheridan sheets, $30% off Joanne Mercer shoes etc etc. So sad. Oh well, I have done the charitable thing and forwarded to all my friends. Grr...
Ohh one more thing- saw a totally awesome looking fellow fatty last night shopping- wearing black leggins, a cream sweater dress and tan just-under-the-knee boots- she looked sooo amazing. Who are you?? I want to be your friend hahah. Please contact me! lol

Huge dirty hen

Sooo.. I had my hens night Saturday night. What a night! I mean, the stripper that I thought was going to be soo good was soo not- more like not-so-hot and embarrassing. But the other parts of the night were great, hilarious cocktails, karaoke, all the trimmings of a tacky hens night.
Now I know most people say they prefer a quiet night in for the hens night, or one of these pole dancing classes blah blah but call me old fashioned- but I was happy singing like a prayer by madonna in a seedy pub whilst wearing a tacky bride top, a bride to be necklace and sash. Oh and later on- out came the pink devil horns with attached veil. My bridesmaids had matching bridesmaid singlets too.
Anyway so above I am wearing a white Cotton On top (thrifted) with little miss bride transfer from Ebay.

black leggings- Big W
Oh and black plastic clasp elastic belt- Crossroads.

Anyway, 7:45am, I had 15 minutes to find clothes, do hair and complete makeup! Gahh!!

ok yessssssssssssss it's been like five years since I wrote. But YOU try planning a wedding! I promise however, to post more and to post more pictures of myself as I wanted to do from word go.

OK so to make up, I may include two pics here. My first one is this one of me in my vintage denim dress. I love this dress. Cost me $5 from Savers and then $30 to get hemmed as it was floor length. I love the pale washed colour, I love it with my chunky wooden beads. I love the elastic gathered waist which means I can wear it with a belt, but I can go sans belt and still be nipped in. I. Love. It. BUT I have only worn it once. I feel like it is too fashionable for a South Dandenong work place lol.

OK onto other things, just want to give you a 5 year recap since its been that long since I posted hmm.

• I now have eyebrows. Grew them back in and they are sensual
• I haven't really lost any weight :( been too wedding stressed I think (Well, will blame on that anyway)
• I am getting married in 2 weeks and 3 days
• My hair has grown a little
• I still love ROL and Bret Michaels
• I also now love the new 90210- with a passion and have to download it weekly as it was axed in Australia.
• I did end up having my gallbladder out 4 months ago. Via emergency surgery. Was the best thing that ever happened.

Sooo anywhoo... I also posted this pic of me in my skinny Big W jeans haha and my floral peasant blouse that I love love with the brown belt that I lost for a while and also love love.

What I don't love love is my facial expression in this pic- but beggers can't be choosers i s'ppose.

Good God almightly above. I am bored. I need some action!
EVERYTHING is boring me. Work. Check. ABL (well he is O/S so that counts and I am NOT being mean!) Friends. Going out (Saturday night out was boring even though I pretended it wasn't hehe) Clothes (For the 17th Tuesday in a row I am wearing my grey and black long sleeved striped tee, black leggings, knee high black boots and black knit vest. For the first 16 times I thought I was channelling Kate Moss/MK Olsen. Now I just look boring) Writing (I wrote all last week, but it was crappo fan fiction-ey type piffle. I can't seem to muster up the strength to write about anything substantial at the moment)
GOD HELP ME.

And to make matters worse- I am so so so awake. Last night, went to bed at 11pm ish. WTF. Well, I was tired and needed an early night. I am so alert today that I woke up at 5am. Have done all my work already.. its only 4pm... only just had my V that on my tired days I drink at 10:30am. Only 1 coffee too? WHAT am I going to do tonight???? I NEED ACTION!!!

Ok last night was WEIRD.

I think I had VH1 on too loud as I drifted off to sleep. Because I was paranoid I could hear noises but I think it was because the volume was too high.
Anyway, as I drifted off to sleep (about 1 or 2am) I am pretty sure they were running a repeat of ep 1 season 1 Rock of Love. So this is the dream I had;
I was living in a ranch style house. On the same property, about 5 minutes from the house was a 24 hour Hungry Jacks. Bret Michaels owned the house and land and condition of me living there was that I had to man the 24 hour HJ’s after hours. OK So the weird thing was that a really remember drifting off to sleep- and then I kinda woke in bed, in my dream! And I got out of bed and went to the service station or something. When I came back there were heaps of people sitting in the HJ’s! and I freaked! I didn’t even know how to cook HJ’s and I was in my PJ’s. SO anyway, I opened up and I’m like, I don’t think this is a 24 hr HJ’s! And then Bret Michaels turned up! And he was like “Just call me if you can’t man the HJ’S!” and I was like “I have your number? Awesome. So anyway, once I have cooked this HJ’s, wanna come back to the house?” haha.. and I can’t remember what he said, but I was cooking HJ’s until like 6:30am and then I had to go to work!
Then I walked into my house and there were all these roadies trying to steal my flat screen TV! And then they were all being all nasty and sleazy and scary.. in a bad way! And I was like, “Where is Bret?” and he was in the corner, and he was hunched and old, and fat and BALD!! OMG it was so scary! He had like no hair on his head and then this looong blonde hair. I walked into the bedroom and Bret was in there, well I think it was a Bret Michaels double- he was in bed with Ambre. And I felt really jibbed lol.
So when I woke up I jumped on the internet quickly and googled Bret, just coz he was on my mind from the dream and guess what? He is doing ROL 3- in a tour bus. And he and Ambre broke up. I am so trying out. I think he needs a fat chick lol. Oh hang on, I’m getting married hey? Lol.

what I have been doing..

Well, I have been sick. As in lying in hospital contemplating my missing gall bladder. THAT'S RIGHT! It's gone. No more stressing about if that rogue cheeseburger after those champagnes is going to make me feel like I am DYING in the morning. Seems I had a naughty little stone that escaped into my bile duct. Good on it. It gave me free emergency surgery care of medicare. Gotta love that.
What else? Well, have been planning this wedding, working, sucking up to work after taking 4 days off while in hospital, trying to make time to see BM1 and 2 who have been so busy and missing ABL who is currently in Copenhagen with work. That's in Denmark by the way. It is NOT a country, as I thought. lol
I am going to start putting pics up soon even though I am off lol.
Today I am wearing something trusty and faithful with a new newie touches. Black rubbed leggings, knee high boots, gray and black long sleeved stripey tee and a black knit long sleeveless vest. This morning I had the vest in my bag and wore my new cropped faux leather bomber. It is so so so hot and I was so so so happy to find one in my size- nabbed it from Crossroad, $59.95. Bargain.
What else have I bought lately?! HEAPS! Last Tuesday (recouping at home, shopping, same thing) a cute as black floral cap sleeved knee length dress for spring/summer.. or now! With tights, boots and my bomber! a cream high neck chiffoney blouse (looks great with high waisted slightly bootleg dark denims and leopard flats. And the bomber! lol I also bought more black leggings. Thursday night I bought the bomber. Saturday BM2 and I went shopping and I ventured into Supre eek! I actually found some stuff that fits lol. I bought a $15 white light knit cardi (hoping to get a lot of wear out of this come spring) a $15 black vee-neck slouchly jumper/dress with a cream check (really hawt and looks great with leggins and boots. Am going to try it tomorrow with my cropped dark denim vest.) and a tartan mini skater skirt with pockets. Not really sure what I am going to do with this as it is really short. May wear it with a black slouchy top and leggings/boots. What else did I nab? Oh yeah, pewter flats from Target for $15- it was a bargain filled day! Then we went to savers and I saw this cardi. It was long. As in calf length. round neck (would prefer a vee, but beggers can't be chosers) grey and browney/orange riger stripes. I showed it to BM2 as a joke but she was like "Hmm.. I don't hate it" and then I realised I showed her because I really liked it. so I bought it, it was under $10 and I wore it yesterday with skinny jeans, brown ankle slouch boots, black long sleeved baggy tee. So I got that and also a camel coat. It is kinda like a trench, but without the trench belt part. Is really nice, not sure what brand, but in great nic and was only $8- must iron it tonight. Want to wear with black pants or high waist dark denims, leopard flats and... not sure what top yet lol. I was really happy with my under $20 savers scratch.. might go back tonight hehe.. NO, have been really bad lately, soo addicted to shopping!

Tomorrow night going to shops with BM1 anyway.. she wants to find something to potentially wear out saturday night for her birthday drinks.. I am buying NOTHING hahah, but am getting a spray tan done! Yay!
Anyway, may pop past savers tonight JUST for a look.. so will update later xxx

did I forget to mention?

Last week ABL and I went to dinner for one of his friends birthdays. Was an awful awful night :( there were just some people there that I find incredibly boring and I had a tooth/gum ache from HELL. Anyway, prior to this we went to the shops because we were early.. and I walked past one of those tiny tiny Asian clothes stores and saw this hawt red floral mini dress.. there were not many people in the store so I decided to take a chance hehe and try it on.. and it fit.. and it's hawt lol. 3/4 sleeves, chiffon-ey, red with tiny flowers, very short and tiered in the skirt.. and only like $26!! wack-a-flaming-do! Almost made up for the bad night. ALMOST.. heheh.



so anyway, work has been busy and nights have been spent either viewing vogue forums, watching and or obsession over ANTM or downloading and watching Melrose Place season 4 and Rock of love season 2. I looooove rock of love... i loove bret michaels. It concerns me a little though how trashy these woman are! There is a french one in the house and she looks kinda of like that Lola Ferarri? and the way she speaks geez.. this thick french porno style accent. And she is all for "well I am a stripper and I have my tits out so I am the best and that's what Bret wants" Well, he picked Jess over Heather last year and that didnt work so maybe he is looking for the strippery kind this season. It seems he is wanting more of a party animal from the two eps i have seen so far. See how serious I take rock of love? Sad isn't it?

Haha i just disapeared for an hour, off looking at pictures of all the rock of love 2 girls and seeing who won lol- i can't wait for these torrents to download i must know now now now! lol Ambre won... she was not that skanky but not overly fantastic anyway?! Probably more suited than Jess but, I mean she was so so not his type! Anywhoo..

Have to go with BM1 into the city tonight for her farewell drinks.. so not interested.. will be good to see of the old workie people but! Funny anyway! but am scared of spending lol... $50 tops!

Not really sure if today is good or not?

Woke up a little late after a semi early night- not early enough!
Rolled over and asked ABL to drive me to work. he said yes.

30 mins later I went and woke him so he could have 30 mins to get ready before we had to leave. He then reminded me that he was training it in and I was like WTF? But you said you would drive me etc etc blah blah. He couldn't remember the 30 mins previous convo. Useless.

We then had a tiffy, he said he would drive me but he didnt want me to get into the habit of it.. I reminded him that in the last 2-3 weeks this would be the third time he had driven me. And then I cried lol. Coz he was being mean. We kinda made up on the way to work but I was angry as!

But the day has improved since then. I mean, work is being OK and the day is traveling well.. it's already 1:45pm... :-)

Tonight will be;

• Doing some washing
• A quick tidy up
• MAYBE changing linen
• Making canned spaghetti on toast
• Perching and watching Australias Next Top Model.

God I'm dull- I love it :)

Last night we went to the reception place for the wedding and met with Debra the co-ordinator- she was AWESOME she had so many good things to say, questions I had not even thought on, etc etc. It was great. And we put down a deposit which is great!

In BAD news.. i have a bit of a toothache.. just to add to my issues. And i feel yuck that I have just ADMITTED that! Its not OVERLY offensive just a bit of an ache. But it sucks. Dentists equal costs I have not allocated for. I bought a V and Cleo at the servo this morning so that's todays budget gone. But I only spent $2 yesterday woohoo.

STOP the ride I want to get off

God I am so exhausted. It's Monday morning. 9:18am. And I am ready for bed. It is taking a lot of effort to keep my eyes open. I actually slept in this morning and was going to call in sick.. but you know, I figured I would do the right thing. Mah.

The reason I slept in was because I didnt fall asleep until close to 2am and my alarm is set for 5:45am. The reason (s) for my late night are as follows;

i feel like i didnt have a weekend- saturday morning was doctors and ultrasound (yeah so I have gallstones btw) then dandenong to the wig shop then to mums to see how dad was with ABL (dad had a pacemaker put in last week, is doing fine but!) then to parkmore with mum to hang out with her. Was fun but even there I was stressed as I had things to do; buy ABL's oldest daughter a birthday present (didn't, didnt find anything) look again at the wedding cakes, check out the sales at Crossroad, have my optical appointment etc blah blah. so didn't get home until after 5pm, then relaxed for a bit then had a few drinks and spent like 2 hours looking nice (in skinny jeans, new black knee high boots, black floral long top/mini dress) and then got there just after 10pm.. and instantly wanted to go home.. wasn't in the mood, didnt want to drink or be sociable etc etc... so we stayed till about 11:30am and then nicked off... got some Mcdonalds on the way home.. naughty naughty.... got home, watched TV, started to watch Poltergiest on TV and then fell asleep about 3am....

Sunday, BM2 (Bridesmaid 2) picked me up at 11am and we went to DFO- found some great stuff at Garfunkle but it was hard without BM1 to buy anything... just to avoid wasting time I am not doing anymore BM dress shopping with one of them.. needs to be both of them! But in good news, I bought my wedding earrings- gorgeous silver dangles with green stones from Garfunkle. I also found necklaces for ABL's girls- delicate silver chains with tiny diamante hearts. They had really nice BM dresses there, as above. We also popped past Dusk, which had really nice wedding cake knife and server (? is that what its called?) for $24.95 on sale which was GREAT so may pick this up next weekend if still there. They also had cute rought iron lanterns for $9.95-$14.95 each... and Lincraft had the clear glass little vases with the narrow tops for about $5-8 each that I was after! After this huge shopping trip I was exhausted so just watched TV, had dinner (which ABL thankfully made) and before I knew it it was 11:30pm. And I then jumped on the internet to check out more weddingy things.. then it was almost 12am.. so I called mum for the nightly chat and had a smoke.. then it was just after 12am. Then I washed my face, toned, brushed teeth, moisterised... then it was 12:30am. Then I got the cat in, jumped into bed, set alarms.. and it was 12:45am. Then I read for a bit, begged ABL for a quick shoulder rub as felt very tense..then it was 1:30am.. and I think I feel asleep about then? Jeez.

I tell you what- I am a little stressed re the wedding and I have not been eating as well as I should. Add onto this dads surgery and my stupid gall stone collecting gall bladder... I am scared to tell my boss I will need time off for surgery for this as I also have asked for a week off in December for a honeymoon (although we may wait till after christmas for this, since the wedding is so close to christmas and we can use our "wishing well dosh" for the honeymoon.. but I have only worked here since we moved out this way 2 months ago! Too much stress going on! I need an extra carricular activity! At least this job is so not stressful compared to CN but maybe if work was busier it would take my mind off the wedding and stuff- I mean, I have totally had time this morning to clack up this post plus check the Vogue Fashion Forum. Lol.

Maybe I will focus on exercise. I have been lacking in that area since we moved. At the old place I went to the gym a fair bit. I do not want to do this now as I am saving every second cent but I can easily walk the dogs at night or do something? I have a yard now woohoo.

Anyway some good things so far today;

the limo man emailed me and said an hour should be fine- so thats $200! Compared to the $600 quote I got last week and nearly vomited. This is great news. I have asked him to book us in.

The wishing well wedding people emailed me and said they can sell me a small birdcage for the wedding dosh for $25. They are closed till august but thats ok. this is great as I had allocated $50 to this but even thought that might not be enough?
