Merry Christmas All!

Being German, I celebrated it all on christmas eve with my mum, dad, brother, niece, auntie, cousins, grandpa and his gf and some friends at my auntie and uncles house. Was very nice and I got lots of nice things.. and so did MISS baby bob lol.. includin a gag gift of a bottle of strawberry topping from m + d.. they rock (I am craving strawberry milk/thickshakes)

Christmas Day I went to my sisters with G and M and D for late lunch,, came home and vowed to clean the house.. mah, I am on SUMMER HOLIDAYS for 10 days I am ONLY doing what I want!

Last night was my "other" jobs christmas party. My "main" job was too tightarsey to give us a party. This one was just at a local pizza restaurant but it was nice- good food and even a half glass of red wine for this mama to be.

Today, 12 months ago exactly, I became a Mrs. His Mrs. What a day. I cannot beleive it has been a year.

After a truly revolting night @ work (I cried because my staff were being little a*holes.. reason for my emotionalness below) I slept in and watched the first 3 eps of Desperate Housewives new season. About 3pm we decided to get showered and dressed and head out.. went to see Paranormal Activity... MAH... don't see it, it is NOT that scary and the handheld camera/Blair Witch act gets old REAL quick. Then we went to Pavillion for dinner and I cannot rave about it more.. wanna hear what I had? OK! We shared garlic cob load for entre, then I had stuffed chicken (w/ scallops and prawns) and a parsley mash.. He had bbq pork ribs. So Blokey. Then we shared a slice of lemon marange (sp?) pie and had a coffee.. soo full. So good!

Now.. I KNOW it has been like months? I have been lying low and just chilling. Have also been really busy and I wasn't ready to share my news with the world and I didn't wanna post until I sould share my news because it is far too exciting- Well, thanks to my husbands super sperm (even a vasectomy couldn't keep us down!) my fertile young body and a great IVF doctor and team of lab people (technical term?) I am 16 weeks pregnant today.. on my first IVF attempt!! YAY!!!! SOO exciting. We have temporarily christened him Bob while he is in my belly (Baby on Board) and I am 100% convinced its a boy and will die in the arse if they tell me in 2 weeks its a girl.. when we have our next scan..

So.. you know what this blog is going to be about now- maternity plus size fashion. Coz there ain't nothing out there I can find to assist me!

I plan of getting around in leggings/skinnies and tees (loose tee's to combat the tight pants) tailored shorts and loosey tops and harems and not so loose tops. I will also give the maxi a fair go. As far as any skirt/dress above calf length, I am realllly not feeling this summer! But we will see...

we have three fertilised embryos in full. I am cool with that.
my birthday was OK. I got a wii fit, some moula, some cute pink cupcake design tea towels and a silver pandora bracelet wif 2 charms. Husbie took me out for a great great GREAt parma and garlic bread dinner. Two of the best foods ever. Sigh.
Saturday day off was spent with mumsy where she bought me the aforementioned pandora bracelet and charms. I bought two teeshirts and some earrings.
Saturday night had the kids and inlaws. Sunday went to SIL house for her twinnies 2nd bday. Then went to work with mumsy. Monday now. Yucky mondays.. hate hate hate mondays.

Soo.. I was all set to blog more often and I actually took this pic monday morning (tis now thursday) but then I couldn't find my card reader and finally found it this morning in my makeup bag. Hmm.

Its cold today and I am chilling at work in skinny jeans (haven't worn jeans for ages!!!) my black and white chanel inspired ballet flats (see below) a black vee neck slinky thrifted long sleeve tee, my trusty long line black thrifted cardi and my black grey and silver scarf. I didn't take a snap because although it actually looks nice, I didn't think it would photograph too well because it is quite dark.

I have been thinking about summer recently and am in two minds.
mind # 1 is excited because she wants vitamin d. She also wants to wear her shorts again and her summery floral top. She wants to buy bright coloured tee's and wear her harem pants with gladiators. She wants to buy lots of St Tropez/Miami inspired stuff like jade green, fuschia pink and stuff with fringing.
mind # 2 is scared because she is huge, lol. She also wants her stupid hair to grow heaps before summer because she thinks long hair makes her look slimmer with skimpier summer clothes haha (hides back fat when wearing a singlet lol)

I think I should be ok.. hair is now able to be ponytailed and the shorty parts are about a inch from hitting my shoulders. It was longer this time last year but its only August. The really hot weather in melbourne comes after christmas anyway and that is like 4 months away. I think I will buy myself some new extensions for christmas anyway. hmmmphh.

I think I may possibly hit savers tonight. My saving is on track but I shouldn't really spend too much but I just want a $30 browse, lol. We will see. I have to be up early to see my sensual FS tomorrow morning so I will see how I feel at 5:30pm

ok so what's been going on? It's been like 3 weeks. feels longer hehehe.

I got the flu. the bad flu. It was real bad. I had to have a week off work. Then I got bronchitus. Which I am just getting over now.

I am nearing the "business" end of my first ivf cycle. Its getting stressy lol. It's getting scary, lol. My husband is jabbing me with needles and I think I will have my eggs taken out next week? sometime. Exciting.. scary!

I am soo overworked lol. I can't wait till I have a bloody embryo transferred because a) it means it may possibly stick and I will stay pregnant lol but b) because I can't work at the roast during the two week wait time.. its too "manual" I am working 7 days a week at the moment. Yuk.

I am still buying clothes. Just not as much, haha. I have saved mega bucks but that is also due to the tax returns I finally filed and the work bonus I got lol. Lately I have purchased some new leggings that go under my heel and lots of loose fit tee's because they are a) comfy as all hell and b) everywhere!!

I cannot promise I will blog more... week work is busy so during the day is hard and at night, I cook a protein loaded dinner and fall in a heap lol. but we will seeeee......

It's not Autumn. Its winter. I kinda wish it was. I have this feeling that winter is going to be over realllllll soon and that saddens me. I am as tired as a hatful of something..
worked 11 hours yesterday, being saturday. Did grocery shopping on the way home at 9:45pm, ate some vegies, did some dishes, did 2 km on the treadmill, showered and died. in. the. arse.
woke up this morning around 8:45amish. The best sleep in I have had for months I reckon. made Hubs a sensual breakfast, watched about 25 mins of TV (saw thriller video clip TWICE WTFFFFF) cleaned the house, washed the dogs, went for a quick driving lesson, went to the shops and bought hubs some boxers, myself a necklace and moisteriser, mum and me a coffee and then went to work with mumsy from 4pm-9pm. Tis now 10:42pm and am waiting for dinner.. yes that is correct. I am also showered and waiting for bed too :-) I cannot beleive that I worked 16 of the 48 hours this weekend gave me. but I need the dosh and am not working next weekend- at all! Scary!

Today I am all purple and gray like a big bruise.

I love love love purple and gray. and I refound this top last night. I was in the spare room (future baby room one day, yay!) looking for my hello kitty lanyard (don't ask) and I found some old clothes in a box. I found this purple tunic along with another purpley jumper thingy, a silver formal jewelled frock and some old leggings. I really like the top I am wearing today- and I am crazy for jewel tones at the moment- bold dark coloured, jade, purple, sapphire.

And yay for wet look leggings, have not worn them for a spell and I have missed them.

Oh HI there.
OK, soo.. I have a uterus. It's a good shape. It has no nasties on it. I have follicles and stuff too, and ovaries. The lady who did it was soo nice and I befriended her so she would tell me what was what, he he. THEN I had to de-panty and have a dildo cam! THAT was unexpected and kinda gross. The only thing she said to me was that there appears to be or have been in the past some hormone imbalance. Hmmphh. But she said she was pretty sure it was something in the past because I appear to be ovulating fine, because she saw a dominant follicle (which should release an egg in a few days)
My blood tests came back clear too- soo I do not have any STD's.. and I know that that is something i shouldn't have been worried about (because I know be a good girl who always used protection in her past yeah? well.. I didn't) but I was worried about it.. and I knew that the ultrasound and blood tests were something I needed to have done but I was so soo shit scared! I have not yet spoken to the doctor but the ultrasound lately gave me a blow by blow this morning and the nurse at my doctors office told me the BT's were ok.. so.. guess what? I should be ok to start IVF next month!!

My hair is a little flat today btw.. because I washed it this morning but I kinda like it- the colour is not so ranga-ey when it is freshly washed and semi straightened. I like this cardi today because I needed to NOT wear any black today- well apart from my boots anyway! I just feel so uninspired at the moment clothes wise. Mah.

OK so last night I went to the plaza- to get my lace dress.

I wanted to have a little wander so on top of the $30 lace dress I was allowing myself $70 extra.
I did Target- they had sweet FA. Like seriously. Admiting that but, my target is a shithouse target.
I did Kmart- please see above. They did however have the shoe booties I was lemming a month or so back for like $20- the issue here is the heel is kinda high. I am not sure if I would wear them. They are hawwwt however... hmm.. what to do, what to do.

I did Supre. I love Sups atm. I feel really weird in there, because I am large haha. And seriously, some of their shit is wayyy too small, but some (the made to be oversize lol) is ok. So i bought my lace dress, which is really a long tank on me lol but I love it and I have been thinking about it since I saw it two weeks ago. They also had tight lycra singlet dresses for underneath for like $18. I picked up a white one, and I do like the white under black lace but the white outlines alllll my bumps. I think the black will be more streamline. A little boring, but still good I think! I haven't bought that part of it yet, I want to try the lace dress over some stuff I already have first.
I then swung past Rubi Shoes for a scarf.. I ended up spotting some tassley ankle boots- I kinda wanted these since the start of winter but never found a pair that fit really well. Well, even though in the past I have found their shoes to be realllly small, this time they fit! shocked the hell out of me. I then saw a pair of black just under the knee suedey tassley boots- for $20 reduced from $70 on sale! I really like them- they are so bogan and 80's and they will not last forever, but for $20- who cares! I am soo having an outfit-build moment- new boots, black opaques, cut off denims and a striped long sleeve tee- and maybe a black vest!! I also got a $10 scarf from Rubi that looks suspiciouly like my others, only with a splash of red. hmm.

Can't wait for the day to be over. Have a hole in my leggings near my front bottom ha ha. I HATE that. Thank the lord for black knickers and a long-ish gray snakeskin tee.

• having a few hours at home by myself tomorrow night as husband is going out. I'm thinking, Lean Cuisine and sex and the city!


• seeing my peeps at a house party saturday night after working an 11 hour shift ha ha


• having a day off finally sunday! a WHOLE day! I might go see a movie!!

OK so I have had this dress for ages. And I can totally remember when and where I got it. I got is from Crossroads in frankston when I was shopping with Kelly. We had been in Bridge Road Richmond in the morning selecting bridesmaid dresses and I bought my wedding shoes that day as well. Crossroads were having a sale and I saw this and it looked so so so hot on the hanger.. I tried it on and it was mah... it was a little clingy (it still is i think ha ha) but anyway, I bought it to wear to Natalie's birthday drinks the next weekend- it was only $25 on sale. I was going to do a black singlet under, leggings and boots. I tried it on over the next few days and was really mah about it still. I never ended up wearing it as I had a severe gall bladder attack the friday before her drinks and ended up in hospital. As you do.

As I am saving, I am trying to wear different things I have not yet worn or I have not worn a lot. It doesn't help either that I am really into wanting practical comfy clothes at the moment (i have not worn a skirt yet all winter!!) but anyway, this morning I decided to give it a go. I think I should have worn it when my hair was dark as gold wih dark hair looks awesome. I think I look a little washed out with the current hair colour but jeez.. I need some different stuff!!
