In other news- I am completely loved up and extremely happy- good things are coming my way as I KNEW they would months and months ago. One door opens and another opens. And you can't get to the other door (the better door!) until you CLOSE the first door!

Tassie!

The night before my 30th I was having a few drinks with a friend and they mentioned they were heading to Tassie for the weekend on October 1st.. Well I decided to go! I had never been and was curious. What an awesome weekend! Good company and just great to get out there and do something different. This is truly what life is all about!

Once again.. has been ages between updates but I have had a pretttty major life change.
I am now one of the millions of women out there that are single and bringing up kids alone.. well one kid in my case lol. I have decided after months of being unhappy to leave my husband. I wont go into all the ins and out but basically, I had been feeling lacking over the last few months and unhappy and I tried my hardest to BE happy but I just couldnt and in the end i realised I was unhappy because we were not in sync with ourselves and our lives anymore and I wasn't in love with him anymore. So I started to think of leaving him. I explained to him why I was unhappy and things didnt change. So I made the change. It was scary and 4 weeks on I still cannot believe I have done it. I have felt sad and lonely and disapointed and dissillusioned that this has happened but you know what else I feel? Relief. and excitement for my future. I am now going to set out and find my own bliss- mine and Billy's <3

Sexy Legs

Yes I know these are awful photos but I really liked what I was wearing today and wanted to show it. I wore this simple babydoll style dress as a top when I was pregnant and now that I have lost a lot of weight it is really loose and 90's ish and I wanted to wear it as a dress. I wore it last weekend with opaques but I want to get used to wearing bare legs with short dresses/skirts.. something I would have never done before! So I figured, I would work my way to it. First, sexy sheer tights! I have got a few compliments today from the boys at work saying I looked sexy so that makes me happy.. (I am quite friendly with them all so this is by no means sexual harrassment-ish lol) Someone old biatch told me that it wasn't very "work appropriate" but you know what? Its casual friday so eat it :-)

Deathly Hallows

SEMI HP AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 SPOILERS AHEAD! U HAVE BEEN WARNED!

OhmyGOSH.
So I get to work yesterday morning, a little tired because Billy woke up at 3:30am and then 4am and at 4am I put him into bed with us. I was listening to the radio at work and I heard them talk about HP and the DH’s #2. They said it was opening tomorrow and I’m like, noo its opening the next day because I have tickets tomorrow night to the midnight screening. Then I thought about it.. and realised at 12:01am 13/7 was actually TONIGHT. OhMyGOSH I was seeing HP tonight! What a bimbo! Can’t believe I almost missed it!
Anywhoo.. as it so happens, I won a double pass to see it at Village Knox Friday afternoon on facebook. I never win a THING so this was awesome. As Geoff and I already had arranged our gold class 3d tickets for Rivoli Cinema Hawthorn, we gave this double pass to friends of ours. We caught up with these friends first for a late dinner at Rock Kung in Glen Waverley and had a lovely banquet and then headed to Mocha Joe’s for a quick strong capp befor heading our separate ways to see the finale that I have been waiting for for YEARS! And WOW, it so didn’t disappoint.

The first poignant scene was a lovely shot of the castle and some 3d Dementors. Snapey stands at the window and looks out, all pensieve. And it was just so perfect, I love my sweet tortured Snapey soul. The movie’s 3d was discreet and not overdone. Scenes were perfect. It was action packed, bang bang bang. Jumped straight into the Gringots scene and then soon after, to Hogwarts. But it didn’t feel like they were dragging it out either. The scenes that made me tear in the book equally made me tear in the movie and I wasn’t the only one.
Best part? The explanation of Severus Snape. Extremely emotional. Alan Rickman, what a fantastic actor.
Anything disappointing? I would have liked more focus on Remus and Tonks. Remus was one of my favourite characters after Snape and I felt he deserved more.

In other news, we have moved house. The new house is awesome. I will take some pics soon. I am not actually sure where my camera is at the moment, hehe. I am also getting extremely reflective and in touch with my instincts as I close in on my 30th (about 7 weeks away!) I am feeling very in touch with myself and the universe at the moment and I feel that great things are on the horizon!

This is what I wore to casual Friday at work.
I have had this blouse for a million years, its a size 20 so its a little big for me now but I am really feeling leopard print at the moment and I like this top all over again.
I have been trying to find a nice leopard blazer. I found one at forever 21 in USA and tried to get my husband to get me one when he was o/s lately but the plus size range at the F21 in Tampa was abysmal apparantly so I got chanel perfume instead. Mah.

Off to Beechworth this weekend for some fun and relaxtion with the girls wooo soo needed! xx

Oh YES into the city with my boys for a day of wandering and lunch at fed square. Have been trying lately to do more things like that, usually on the weekend I have one day at home pottering, cleaning, hanging out with the boys, then maybe taking Billy for a walk to the park in his pram. Then a nice dinner. Then the next day we will do something. Last weekend we went to the farm! (pics soon promise)

Anyway.. all thats about to change because us CRAZY loons are moving again. Just 5 minutes away but its a nicer bigger place.. it was unexpected so the move has REALLY put the strain on us financially but you know.. whatever doesn't break you makes you stronger?!
Things have been kinda.. would I say rough? lately.
I am having the best time of my life. I am the slimmest I have been in ages (even though these last 15ish kilos are SO DAMN HARD TO MOVE! lol) I have great friends, I have a beautiful 1 year old baby boy, my husband etc.. but I am so tired trying to get everything to fit. Working out has had to take a little step back as financially bootcamp was killing me and time wise, its hard. I am trying to work out daily but it has to fit in with the boy (Who has been cranky, teething and sick with a cold) and also packing! I feel so tired all the time but my life is wonderful so I know I will get the balance right soon!

As for clothes.. pfft. I can't afford a big shop and won't really buy anything major for a while so bare with me as I am on a repeat cycle, lol.

a ghostly night

so last night Geoff and I popped into the city for our dirty weekend lol.
The previous night Melbourne flooded. It was full on! Mum and I had been to the markets during the day and she dropped me off, geoff was starting to leave work and the skys just opened. The above pic was taken from my front door. The road was a river. It went down pretty quick, like within a few hrs but Mum and Dad's lounge room flooded, Geoff and my brother ripped up the carpet today. So it took us ages to get into the city due to public transport not being able to 100% run but our hotel was lovely when we got there. We went to Margo's at crown DO NOT GO THERE. Despite having fresh seafood on display mine was frozen I am pretty sure, our entres and mains arrived before our drinks and the waiters all stood around looking useless. We then went on Drew Sinton's Melbourne ghost walk which was awesome. I have heard people say it used to be better because a lot of the buildings Drew talks about on the walk have been pulled down but thats not his fault and it made me sad because I love love love the old parts of melbourne and it really picqued my interest again to see them all and made me sad that they are pulling all these beautiful buildings down! Drew himself was awesome too..a real character.. he reminded me a touch of Severus Snape and you KNOW how I feel about Alan Rickman/Sevvy Snape. Then we trammed it around a little, getting lost. ended up having coffee and cake on Lygon Street before heading back to our lovely hotel for some dirty sex.. well this is my blog, I can say it. Tonight Natalie Liz and I went and saw Black Swan. I fucking loved it. Awesome movie. I think tomorrow will be spent with my son lol and cleaning my house a little. Great weekend!

This top looked grwat this morning I reckon, but judging from all the old pervs looking at my chest later on in the day, I'd say it was a tad too low cut. I can't wear a bra with it as you can see it and it kinda flattens my boobies too which sucks. Anyway, just a quick note as I am tired, its almost 1am.. tomorrow am off to CARRIBEAN GARDENS MARKET with mumma then coffee with a friend then drinks with another. Then saturday geoff and I are off for a romantic night in the city. Dinner, a ghost tour around melb cbd, and a stay in a hotel! YAY! Couldn't probably realllly afford it.. but MEH!

Today was meant to be high 30's but it wasn't really and I was disapointed. I love high 30's. Where is my freaking summer god dammit. Nah it was pretty steamy which sucks, I wanted sunny.. I wore this old maxi that I had to gather material at the back and tie in a band (noice) as it is too big but all my maxis are now too big and its annoying! In theory, I love a maxi but IRL I don't so much. This one I love, its a great length and I like how my shoulders look but soo many maxis look terrible I reckon..
