Today I am wearing my new white scarf with black love hearts all over it. I loove it and remember, it was only $2 from Big W. I have paired it with my long purple tee/dress, black big w leggings and my thrifted Sussan crochet cardi. I am wearing my target open toe black flats. These pics I have taken are shite but I left the camera at work last night so mah, what do ya do?

I am feeling much better today- monday + yesterday I felt like shit and was soo tired + bored + anti social at work... I went to bed a teeny bit earlier last night so am feeling better today :-)

What's new with me?

I'm going to attempt a no clothes for two weeks ban. meaning- you CANNOT buy clothes for 2 weeks. Picking up a layby is ok. Putting something on layby is ok- but only if you reallllly reallllly love it.
The ban will start when I get paid tomorrow. I think it will force me to look, I mean realllly look, in my 'robe.

Take back the weekend..

Oh where oh where did my weekend go??

Here is where!
Saturday- started work @ the roast at 10am. Was busy AS. Ended up working 11 hours and finally got out at 9pm. Was too tired to go out with Nat + Katie so I went home, ate my chips + gravy, watched a bit of TV, had husband rub my sore tootsies and went to bed.

Sunday, slept in a little, woke up and made us eggs for breakfast, did a little washing + cleaning, washed my doggies, then in the afternoon went out for a little shopping spent allll my hard earned cashie- Revlon Colorstay @ $33, Redkin protein hair mask @ $30 black nailart polish @ $10 thrifted black high waisted skirt with pockets (very nice!) $9 @ Savers, thrifted green crochet cropped cardi $6 @ savers, a book + a bracelet @ $1ea from Savers.

Then we went to L + S's for dinner with Nat and Greg. Had roast lamb with vegies + this incredible gravy! Was soo nice. Then the four of us went to the Hub and did our grocery shopping together, that was funny. Nat and I were all like- "Oh THIS is the best detergent" "This is the best dog food ever!!" etc etc.. the boys were like- hurry uupppp!!!

Then I went home + went to sleep.

It was quite a nice day- bit too warm for MY liking but. Someone needs to tell Melbourne it AIN'T meant to be hot anymore!!

Mmm.. just had the best sandwich for lunch! Lean chicken and low fat cheese on dirty grainy seeded brown bread, toasted. Yummoli.
It has made me tired but, always tired after lunch. Lucky that we are actually really busy and short staffed today so I really have no time to be tired as I am busy!

Its been a good Friday so far. I was up early and made myself some sensual eggs on toast and got dressed early and did the dishes and everything! I am wearing my new cardigan which has made me happy, I really like it and I really like my casual Friday look!

So I went to Parkmore last night and went into Big W to have a look at the cardi in the ‘logue, the stripey one. I didn’t really like it. Was really stiff. I like stretch. Was kinda dowdy. But it was the last one in my size so I hid it while I went to Kmart because I knew I had seen a stripey cardi thingy I liked there the other night- I found it, tried it on, loved it and bought it. They actually had a couple of Ok looking things in kmart- such as a cheapie striped tee and some long sleeved striped tee’s- I really want some stripey stuff to wear with my new wet look leggings. I think I might actually raid my mums ‘robe tonight but when I go over there because she actually has some really nice striped tops. Am I spelling stripey wrong? It looks funny, ha ha.
OH I also bought a white/creamy tunic-ey top last night. will wear with my wet looks next week. I also picked up a $2 discounted white chiffon scarf with little black love hearts printed on it. cute + a bargain!

omg so opposite to the way I was feeling yesterday! I am so so so stupidly sleepy this morning! I feel like a zombie and I am uncomfortable in my clothes.
I love my leggings, shoes + cardi. The jury is still out on the blouse. It is one of those ones with an elasticated band at the hem. I dunno.. I am not really sure this is a really flattering shape? I love the colour but, and the ruffles. It is way sheer too, which annoys me because I reckon the singlets they give you to wear underneath are NEVER big enough and if it is sheer like this, you need it to be big underneath. Because the way it is now you can actually see my white bra straps and the start of my bra which is a little… scary for me, ha ha.

a little bit wrong

I feel like I am on speed this morning.. typing and talking so very fast.we had a complaint this morning that our dept was not picking up calls. this really pisses me off. there are certain peeps in this dept that do not pull their weight and let phone calls go through to message bank but not me and i resent having to listen to that complaint, aimed at all of us! vent over.. ha ha...
I am wearing armani code perfume today and it reminds me of last year, last winter, of dandenong hookups, thai restautants and trucks. Blahblah. ishway iway ouldcay orgetfay.
I washed my hair this morning and it is fluff + frizz central ha ha. Tomorrow it should be ok. Isn't it funny? it took burning the CRAPOLI out of my hair for me to finally leave it three days between washes.
I refuse to admit that it may be 26 degrees today. I am all wintered up. i wanted to try the open toe sandles with opaques. I like it.

Grass is greener?

As I sit here looking at the pics below I think of how green the grass is in the garden and how it was a few weeks back when we were having our gross million degree weather. What a difference.
I am quite enjoying garden snaps. It is nice to have a kind of garden, compared to the house we used to live in with the concrete jungle.

Today I am wearing something transeasonal and autumny.. it is meant to be 26 degrees but it was cold this morning. I am annoyed because I am tired.. all I want to do is sleep at the moment! And because I had chinese last night with Geoff for his birthday and pizza the previous night- very very naughty. I need to be good for the rest of the week!

I am wearing these cute little dangly earrings. I am no much of an earring person but with the short hair I thought it would look cute? Wearing these cream top today has made me realise how much I want a long long white/cream mini dress/long top. I had to wear the vest over this because the hem line on this blouse is uneven and short- like does not cover my bum. And I am more than happy to wear leggings as pants- so long as I have butt coverage. Must look for this this weekend..

Didn’t wash my hair again this morning.. eww he he he.. so easy to do. Am still loving it. It is a very reminisint hairdo.. I had something soo similar when I was 18.

okaayyy..
perhaps i should have stopped with stripping my hair.
perhaps i should have stopped with one hour long application of 30 vol peroxide. on already dyed hair.
noo.. i had to do two.
then, why was my hair disintergrating? OMFG SERIOUS. My hair has NEVER broken. This time- holy crap.
a) the left hand side near my face literally sizzled up. I would slide my fingers down the hair and it would break in my fingers.
b) it was so porous it was retaining all water and took 3 hours to dry
c) it was sticky and gummy.
I was seriously thinking- HOLY CRAP!!!
Soo.. I coudn't sleep. (its sunday nite, haven't slept since friday nite) in case the hair rubbed against my pillow and broke more. So i googled what to do, found not a lot, cried, and planned to buy a wig today.
This morning around 9am I called mumsy who told me to call kelly her hd. kelly was awesome and told me to come in at 12pm. 5 hours and $300 dollars later, I have hair still. Cropped. WAY cropped, but kinda awesome. She didnt have to go this short but I was like- you know what? CUT IT HEY?! I need a change (maybe because a certain someone never liked short hair on me?) She also bleached it some more, safely, and then toned it to a caramel/mocha. I will go back in 4 weeks for her to redo that colour as it will fade to the yellow/copper/orange blonde underneath but maybe in a month or two my haor will be strong enough to have blonde foils on top of the caramel. Which is totally my ideal colour. So am kinda happy hey! I also stocked up on matrix strengthening shampoo and conditioner and a redken anti snap leave in condit. Here are my new hair ruled so my hair is build back up again.. coz even thou she did a great job.. its still frizzled and a bit gummy.
a) wash every second day. with this length, should be easy.
b) use the matrix and redken crapoli c) do not colour my own hair. EVER AGAIN. haha

to dye or not to dye

See? I was more organised this morning. Kind of. I actually was wearing my pink blushy blouse until about five minutes before I left the house but changed as I felt I was too “pastels” the black broke it up more + I got to wear my sensual new tan belt.
My stomach feels a little flatter after eating pretty good all week. This is the best I have been in ages lol. I have had a few little slip ups but nothing compared to what I have been doing lately!
I cannot wait for today to be over. Yay for Friday. Yay for the weekend. Even though I am working 5 hours at the roast tomorrow night, I am DYING for a relaxing weekend! After my drunkenness last weekend, my body needs some TLC.
I was having a look at the citychic website late last night and saw they have wet look leggings for the bargain price of $29.95. I seriously may buy them. Fountain gate are holding me a pair til tomorrow he he. I hope they are long and not too tight. I ordered the XL so hopefully there is a bit of bag going on.
Did I mention I stripped a streak of hair last night? It is now orange. I am now seriously trying to decide if I want to strip the whole head this weekend lol. I know these things are sometimes best left to a HD but my hair is oily not dry and in quite decent condition. I have stripped before and it didn’t kill my hair. I just need to decide because once I have gone lighter.. ain’t going back to the black!!!
So.. if I decide to go ahead, these are my steps.
1- bleach application 1 + 2 full head (somehow leaving roots to last minute)
2- light brown castings application
3- wait two-four weeks
4- go to the actual HD and get full head blonde highlights

I have been a bad blogger this week. but you know what? I have been kinda uninspired with clothes and haven't really much new or different so there has been no real need to post?

Well.. that's my story anyway.

so i really love coral at the moment. I decided to throw some colour in today and wear my coral tee. I have been wanting to wear this grey leopard printed bolaro all week as I have only worn it once since I got it about 6 weeks ago. I think this outfit looks ok but- the top is a CC size small however and feels a little cling-on-ey ha ha.
I added my gold thongs to the ensemble. Gold + Coral = Palm Beach Glamour, ha ha.

I have had a fruitful morning at work by the way- below is my handywork so far. I am not sure if I mentioned it or not but today is my friends 30th and we are having a party tomorrow night- with the theme of Bogans + Beauty Queens. Originally I was all over the Beuty Queen aspect as I bought this red marilyn monroe esque dress from Savers for like $8 but then I thought more about it- and the desire to wear skinny jeans, bogan thongs and a bogan flannie won. I think if the party was going to be bigger I would go the red dress but it is quite dressy and very verrrrry booby. The party is at my cousins place and will be quite a drunk, casual mess, so I think jeans and a flannie would do better! So to fit in with my bogan theme I am wearing one of Husbands flannies and I found some VB thongs at Big W on sale last night along with a white beanie- I will wear that again i think! I am also going to give myself some fake tatts lol and this is why I also gave myself the bogan nail art.. see below :-)
